How much tea do I use to make a cup of tea?

Can I brew loose-leaf tea more than once?
Yes, and you are encourage to do so as much as possible. Because loose-leaf is of a higher quality it will continue to release flavor and health benefits for at least three steepings. Increase the steeping time accordingly to achieve your desired taste.
What is the best way to steep tea?
There are many schools of thought on this question, generally tea will benefit from having as much space to expand as possible. A round teapot made of porcelain, glass, or clay will be the ideal vessel. If you are making a cup only, then consider a strainer basket or a mesh ball. Remember, one teaspoon per cup and keep in mind that the “less is more” philosophy really applies to tea.
